EVK @ ANUGA FOOD TEC

In March, the international trade fair for food technology will once again take place in Cologne – Anuga Food Tec 2024. From 19 to 22 March, you can visit us at booth D-027 in hall 10.1 and experience live how our hyperspectral camera systems classify materials in real time and analyze the moisture concentration on food in real time.

As experts in industrial image and data processing, EVK offers innovative solutions for the inspection, monitoring and sorting of bulk materials. The EVK HELIOS EC hyperspectral camera in combination with the EVK ALPHA real-time image processing platform offers a powerful system for industrial applications.

Hyperspectral imaging classifies objects based on their chemical composition. This results in extremely diverse and wide-range of applications. Foreign bodies such as leaves, bones, plastic or other unwanted materials, as well as defects like rot, contamination or rancidity can be effectively detected. Sorting decisions are made in the system and transmitted to valves, flaps or other mechanical devices.

QUANTITATIVE CHEMICAL IMAGING

With Quantitative Chemical Imaging (QCI), laboratory methods can be transferred to EVK products. This enables the determination of quantitative measured values, such as the pH value, protein content or salt concentration on products directly in the line. Continuous monitoring and inspection of the entire production line is thus guaranteed, providing more representative results than random sample analyses in the laboratory.
