Hyperspectral Imaging in the Food Industry

This technology can be used to quantitatively determine the degree of fruit ripeness (e.g. peaches, grapes etc.), but also to detect rotten, mouldy or bruised ones. Furthermore, another very useful application is the determination of the degree of moisture in food the detection and the detection of foreign materials and defective products.
