EVKs smart camera systems can spatially resolve and represent chemical data in real-time. The advantage of a Hyperspectral Imaging system is that the chemical sensitivity can be tailored by choosing the spectral range to suit a given application. Hyperspectral Imaging i.e. EVK Chemical Imaging can thus classify objects and/or parts of objects according to their chemical composition and can output chemical distribution maps that are not affected by the colour of objects.
