Smart Sorting Solutions

With hyperspectral cameras and inductive metal sensors, we offer smart sensor-based sorting solutions for the recycling industry. Our technologies allow the classification of materials based on their chemical composition and the detection of metal particles. Advanced algorithms extract key data for smart sorting decisions.

Sensor Fusion

Combining EVK HELIOS hyperspectral cameras with EVK ABAS inductive metal sensors or third-party color cameras, EVK enables a combination of different technologies to enhance sorting results. The combination of color and hyperspectral cameras, for example, allows sorting by fractions (color and chemical composition). In addition, with the intelligent inductive sensor EVK ABAS, metals can be detected and ejected from the product stream, allowing them to be recycled later as well.

Quantitative Analysis in Real-Time

EVK systems enable the quantitative analysis of materials. For example, this allows for analysis of the moisture content of wood or of refuse-derived fuels directly in the production line. The use of quantitative analysis results provides our customers with the best conditions for precise control and management of the process.

Feasibility Study and Material Testing

To ensure cost control and process flow of a project, we conduct feasibility studies for our customers if required. After defining the necessary criteria, measurements of the test material are carried out in the EVK technical center or directly on site. The data is evaluated by experienced application engineers, and a comprehensive report is provided. If desired, we also offer our customers the opportunity to test their own materials in our test center.
